Raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, I now live with my family in LaGrange, Illinois. My art and design education came through Columbia College Chicago and Harrington School of Design. In addition, working as a framer in high school, managing a boutique at Marshall Field’s State Street, and later on as a project manager at the Merchandise Mart has prepared me for the creative and professional skills I use today. A few years ago, I began learning the craft of gilding, the art of applying gold leaf. Today, in addition to working with design clients in their homes, sourcing and styling the boutiques, and managing the Airbnb properties, in my free time I work on small watercolor drawings which sometimes end up in the shop.
